AND WE REMEMBER;
THIS IS CRUCIFIXION . . .
PRAYER FOR ALL ABORTED BABIES
LORD GOD, HEAVENLY CREATOR AND FATHER
WE PRAY FOR ALL ABORTED BABIES
WE DARE NOT THINK OF THEIR IMMENSE SUFFERINGS
REJECTED FROM THE MOMENT OF THEIR CONCEPTION
AS JESUS YOUR SON WAS REJECTED DURING HIS LIFETIME.
EXECUTED IN AN ACT OF LOVELESSNESS
AS YOUR SON WAS EXECUTED IN AN ACT OF LOVELESSNESS.
CROWNS OF THORNS WERE RAMMED ON YOUR SON'S HEAD
AS UNBORN BABIES' SKULLS ARE CRUSHED.
NAILS WERE PIERCED THROUGH YOUR SON'S HANDS AND FEET
AND METAL GOUGES RIP OUR UNBORN BABIES' BODIES APART.
AS YOUR SON DIED CALLING HIS MISERY AND LONELINESS TO YOU
SO WAILS ARE HEARD BY ABORTION WORKERS FROM TINY BEINGS STILL
ALIVE AFTER THE ABORTION PROCEDURE.
WE PRAY, LORD GOD, FOR YOUR IMMENSE POWER TO SWEEP OVER OUR LANDS
AND REMOVE THIS SCOURGE FROM OUR MIDST.
LET US LEARN TO LOVE OUR INNOCENT UNBORN
TO THINK WITH RESPONSIBILITY AND CARE BEFORE MAKING THE ACT OF LOVE
TO PRIZE LIFE AS MADE NOT ONLY BETWEEN TWO, A MAN AND A WOMAN,
BUT WITH YOU IN YOUR CREATIVE ACT OF PLACING A UNIQUE SOUL IN
THE GIFT OF THIS CHILD TO OUR UNIVERSE.
FATHER GOD, WE PRAY IN REPARATION FOR ALL WHO
LABOUR IN ABORTION WARDS
FOR THOSE WHO MISTAKENLY TAKE LIFE INSTEAD OF NURTURING LIFE
FOR THOSE WHO CAUSE SUFFERING AND DEATH BY MEANS OF
SURGICAL AND OTHER INSTRUMENTS
INSTEAD OF USING ALL MEANS AT OUR DISPOSAL TO
RELIEVE PAIN AND REVERE GOD-GIVEN LIFE.
WE PRAY IN REPARATION FOR THE SOULS OF ALL WHO WORK WITH ABORTIONS
OFFERING PRAYER FOR THEM WHEN THEY COME
BEFORE YOUR JUDGEMENT SEAT.
WE PRAY FOR ALL PRO-LIFE WORKERS
THAT THEIR EFFORTS WILL BE BLESSED.
AND, ABOVE ALL, DEAR LORD
WE PLACE OUR UNBORN CHILDREN
WITHIN THE PROTECTION OF YOUR SACRED HANDS
REMEMBERING WITH FAITH AND TRUST
YOUR ETERNAL WORDS;
'YEA, EVEN IF YOUR MOTHER FORGET YOU,
I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU.
I HAVE CARVED YOU IN THE PALM OF MY HAND.'

Fresh Manna
A few years back, I remember reading an article about a bird burned in a forest fire. A ranger found this bird literally petrified in ashes on the ground by the base of a tree. He has gently moved the bird with a stick and when he did, some baby chicks scurried out from under their dead mother’s wings. It was explained that the loving mother, aware of the fire about to descend upon them, carried her chicks to the base of the tree and gathered them under her wings. Though she would have instinctively known to get some place high to escape the rising toxic smoke, instead of flying to safety and saving herself, she covered her chicks with her wings and saved them..jpg)
This story reminds me of Jesus and how He covers us with His wings. Psalm 91:4says, “He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you will find refuge.” He died to that we could be forgiven and have eternal life. The promises of God’s word remind us that His covering did not stop with Jesus’ death and resurrection. 
These scriptures and others help us see that once we have received Jesus as our Savior, we gain a righteousness. This is not a righteousness we earn by being good, it is a righteousness earned by Jesus and given as a gift to us. Our faith in this righteousness given to us is like putting on a perfectly white robe. When God looks at us, He only sees the robe, white, pure, and without blemish. Our sins are washed away and we’ve been made righteous. The robe is God’s covering for us so that Colossians 1:22 becomes true for us. “But now God has reconciled you by Christ’s physical body through death to present you holy in His sight, without blemish and free from accusation–“
