Protest unveiling of satan’s statue
in the city of Detroit

Good Shepherd Church has received report that Bert's Entertainment Complex in Detroit has pulled out of the event for the unveiling of the satanic temple's demon statue of baphomet; leaving the satanic temple searching for another venue, Alleged News.
The group have reportedly told local WXYZ that it still plans to continue with the unveiling on the same date at an unnamed location, Alleged News [1]. The date planned is apparently 25th July 2015, Alleged News.

Statue of satan
A statue of satan inviting people, especially children, is to be apparently unveiled. The satanic temple on its website's ticket page which had been planned for Bert's Warehouse claimed; 'Come dance with the devil and experience history in the making'
'The event will serve as a call-to-arms from which we will kick off our largest fight to date'

Baphomet
The demon statue is a resemblance of the devil baphomet, including two life size statues of a young boy and girl staring up at him.
The statue was reportedly designed to have a functional purpose as a chair where people of all ages may sit on the lap of satan for inspiration and contemplation. [2]

Jesus Christ, Son of God
Jesus Christ, Son of God and Vanquisher of satan saw the demon fall like lightning from heaven to earth after warfare in heaven [3].
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the One to Whom all, especially children, should turn for true support, love, salvation and eternal life [4].

Why not protest the unveiling?
