THE FEAST OF THE ARCHANGELS
A PRAYER FOR LIGHTING THE INCENSE
As we light this incense,
we ask that we might ignite a burning desire
and a great love for You, our Gracious God.
As this incense arises on high
so may our prayer rise effortlessly
in silent salutation to you
that it might be prayer for all the world.
May this prayer reach You through Your Holy Spirit,
Who prays continuously within us
and dwells eternally with You and Your Son.
