There is much heavenly assistance for those who find themselves under spiritual attack.
Pray the Rosary
The Most Holy Rosary is a powerful protection against spiritual attack, and agent for conversion. If you wish, pray the Rosary: explanation how to pray this powerful prayer is found below.
Wear the Miraculous Medal, a powerful aid
Please know, too, that the Miraculous Medal has proven powerful to protect against spiritual attack.
The Rue du Bac in Paris is where the then novice, Sr Catherine Laboure, was blessed with the apparitions of Mary Immaculate. Mary, Queen of Heaven, came to visit Catherine and asked her to have a holy medal made, which would give great protection and graces.
As Catherine was shown the design for the medal, she heard a voice say, "Have a medal struck upon this model. All those who wear it, when it is blessed, will receive great graces specially if they wear it round the neck.
Those who repeat this prayer with devotion will be in a special manner under the protection of the Mother of God. Graces will be abundantly bestowed upon those who have confidence." The prayer is "O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee."

PRAYER OF CONSECRATION
"O Virgin Mother of God, Mary Immaculate, I dedicate and consecrate myself to you under the title of Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal. May this Medal be a sure sign of your affection for me and a constant reminder of my duties toward you. Ever while wearing it, may I be blessed by your loving protection and preserved in the grace of your Son. O Most Powerful Virgin, Mother of Our Savior, keep me close to you every moment of my life. Obtain for me, your child, the grace of a happy death; so that in union with you, I may enjoy the bliss of Heaven forever. Amen."
Prayer
"O Mary, conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee, and for all who do not have recourse to thee, Amen."

I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth. And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the power of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right Hand of God, the Father Almighty. From thence He shall come, to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Catholic Church, the Communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body and the life everlasting. Amen.
On the single beads the Our Father is prayed:
Our Father, Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as It is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.
On the sets of beads, the Hail Mary is prayed:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, mother of God, pray for us sinners now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
At the end of each set of beads, the Glory Be is prayed:
Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be, world without end, Amen.
This is followed by the Fatima prayer:
O my Jesus, forgive us our sins, save us from the fires of hell, and lead all souls to heaven, especially those most in need of Thy mercy. Amen.
Many people recite five to fifteen mysteries of the Holy Rosary each day:

1. The Resurrection
2. The Ascension
3. The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles at Pentecost
4. The Assumption of Our Lady body and soul into Heaven

At the end of the Rosary recite the Hail Holy Queen:
Hail Holy Queen, Mother of mercy, hail our life, our sweetness and our hope. To thee do we cry, poor banished children of Eve. To thee do we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping in this vale of tears. Turn then, most gracious Advocate, thine eyes of mercy towards us, and after this our exile, show unto us the blessed Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary, pray for us now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Follow the Hail Holy Queen by:
Pray for us O Holy Mother of God
That we may be made worthy of the promises of Christ
LET US PRAY
O God, Who by Thy Life, Death and Resurrection didst purchase for us the rewards of eternal salvation
Grant, we beseech thee, that, while meditating upon these mysteries of the most holy Rosary of the Blessed Virgin Mary
We may both imitate what they contain
And obtain what they promise through the same Christ our Lord

READING:
Priest: "A reading from the gospel of St Luke, chapter 2, verses 1 to 16.
"In those days, Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria). Everyone went to their own town to register. So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee in Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and town of David.
"He went there to register with Mary, his espoused wife, who was expecting a Child. While they were there, the time came for the Baby to be born, and she gave birth to her Firstborn, a Son.
"She wrapped Him in cloths and laid Him in a manger, because there was no guest room available for them. There were shepherds living out in the field nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night.
"An Angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the Glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the Angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring great news that will bring great joy to all the people. Today in the town of David a Saviour has been born to you. He is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign to you. He will be wrapped in cloths, and laid in a manger."
"Suddenly a great company of the Heavenly Host appeared with the Angel, praising God and saying, "Glory to God in the Highest Heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom His Favour rests."
"When the Angels had left them and gone into Heaven, the shepherds said to one another: "Let us go to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has told us about."
"So they turned off and found Mary and Joseph, and the Baby lying in the manger.
"This is the Word of the Lord."
Congregation: "Thanks be to God."
WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT:
Priest: "We celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, the Son of God and Saviour of the world. Each one of us is a human son or daughter of God Himself. We have all been made in God's Image and Likeness. We are, all, indeed special,
Celebrate your unique identity which God has given you. Whoever your are, whatever your individual talents, God has created you. And you have a special mission in life. Perhaps you are struggling - as we all do - with a difficulty. Perhaps an addiction - an agonizing loss - difficulty with faith - illness. Whatever your challenges, you can overcome them, with the help of Almighty God.
The past year has been one of challenges and blessings - as all years are. We pray for an end to the devastating war in Ukraine, and for end to wars and conflicts all over the world. We pray for all those who have passed away, for their families, friends and colleagues.
Let us pray for the gift of faith that shines like a lamp unto this world. Let our belief in God light the way for others, showing as a beacon towards heaven. Let our moral values and struggles to lead a good life be an indication to others that this spiritual battle towards perfection and eternal life in heaven with God is a life-path worth following.
Let us pray for each other. Let us pray for our children. Let us pray for all who have died. Let us pray for those who are in need of the grace of God.
Jesus Christ came into this world. He took all our sins upon Himself, emptied hell of all who had fallen into the grasp of the evil one, satan. He has offered us every grace necessary for our station in life, to become holy, wonderful, and loving.
Take that grace! Lift up the challenge! Find out who you are truly meant to be. Find out what talents you have to bring the kingdom of God into this world.
Be of hope and good cheer! Jesus Christ has been born, the Saviour is here, the battle against evil has already been won by our dear Son of God.
Happy Christmas!"
ACCEPTING JESUS CHRIST:
If you wish to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour, please visit the following Prayer Chapel:
Priest: "Almighty God, You sent Your only Son to our world because You loved us so much. We praise You, Father, that on the night before He gave His Life, our Lord Jesus took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to His disciples, saying: "Take, eat, this is My Body which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me."
Congregation: "Lord Jesus, You are the Bread of Life,"
Priest: "After the same manner, He took the cup, gave thanks and gave it to them, saying: "Take this, all of you, and drink, for this is My Blood: the Blood of the New Covenant which is poured out for you and for all for the forgiveness of sins. Do this in memory of Me."
Congregation: "Lord Jesus, You are the Cup of Life, the wine that is blessed for our salvation."

Today we begin the celebration of Advent, four weeks during which we remember the coming of the Son of God, our Lord Jesus Christ, to earth. We turn our minds and hearts towards heaven, our ultimate destination which our Saviour has won for us. Jesus Christ is the Son of God, and was incarnated to the world as a tiny Babe within the Virgin Mary. This wondrous fact calls on us to change our hearts, change sinful lifestyles, and be at peace. Turn towards God, repent past misdeeds, clean out your mental and spiritual house and prepare yourself for heaven. We never know when our last Advent upon this earth will be: make sure your soul is ready to stand before God at personal Judgement, having tried your best. God asks no more.
If you have sin on your soul, go to confession to a priest of integrity. If you are unable to do so, why not visit the Repentance Chapel?
Advent wreath: Have a wreath in your home, if possible, This is a circle of greenery, with four candles - three purple, one pink - in memory of the four Sundays of Advent prior to the glorious Feast of Christmas. The purple candles denote hope, preparation through penance and purification, and love. The rose pink candle denotes hope. Some traditions add a white candle for purity, regeneration, godliness, light and victory.
The celebrant now lights the first candle - a purple one, while praying:
Opening prayer: "Lord God, let Your Blessing come upon us as we light the candles of this wreath. May the wreath and its light be a sign of Christ's promise to bring us salvation. May He come quickly and not delay. We ask this through Christ our Lord, Amen."
First Reading: Isaiah 7:10-14 : The Sign of Immanuel: A young woman who is pregnant will have a Son and will name Him Immanuel"
"Again the LORD spoke to Ahaz: Ask a sign of the Lord your GOD; let is be deep as Sheol or high as heaven. But Ahaz said, "I will not ask, and I will not put the LORD to the test." And He said, "Hear then, O house of David! Is it too little for you to weary men, that you weary my GOD also? Therefore the LORD Himself will give you a sign. Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call His Name Immanuel.
Second Reading: Isaiah 11:1-10 : The Branch from Jesse: "The Spirit of the LORD will give him wisdom"
A shoot shall come up from the stump of Jesse;
from his roots a Branch will bear fruit.
The Spirit of the LORD will rest on Him -
the Spirit of wisdom and of understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and of might,
the Spirit of the knowledge and fear of the LORD -
and He will delight in the fear of the LORD.
He will not judge by what He sees with His Eyes,
or decide by what He hears with His Ears;
but with righteousness He will judge the needy,
with justice He will give decisions for the poor of the earth.
He will strike the earth with the rod of His Mouth;
with the breath of His Lips He will slay the wicked.
Righteousness will be His belt
and faithfulness the sash around His Waist.
The wolf will live with the lamb,
the leopard will lie down with the goat,
the calf and the lion and the yearling together;
and a little Child will lead them.
The cow will feed with the bear,
their young will lie down together,
and the lion will eat straw like the ox.
The infant will play near the cobra's den,
and the young child will put its hand into the viper's nest.
They will neither harm nor destroy
on all My Holy Mountain.
for the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the LORD
as the waters cover the sea.
In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to Him, and His resting place will be glorious.

All: O GOD of Justice and Love, bless us the people of Your world and help us to live in Your Peace. LORD, make me an instrument of Your Peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love: where there is injury, let me sow pardon: where there is discord, let me sow harmony. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled, as to console; to be understood, as to understand; to be loved, as to love: to receive sympathy as to give it: for it is in giving that we shall receive, in pardoning that we shall be pardoned, in forgetting ourselves that we shall find unending peace with others. and in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen
Celebrant: Heavenly Father, clear a pathway in our hearts to make ready for Your Son, so that, when He comes, He may find us serving You in sincerity of heart. We make this prayer through the same Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
Blessing:
Celebrant: Bow Your heads and pray for GOD's Blessing.
You believe that the Son of God once came to us; you look for Him to come again. May His Coming bring you the light of holiness and His Blessing bring you freedom.
All: Amen
Celebrant: May GOD make you steadfast in faith, joyful in hope, and untiring in love all the days of your life,
All: Amen
Celebrant: You rejoice that our Redeemer came to live with us as Man. When He comes again in glory may He reward you with endless life,
All: Amen
Celebrant: May Almighty GOD bless you, and may this blessing remain upon you forever,
All: AMEN
Final Hymn: For unto us a Child is born
unto us a Son is given,
For unto us a Child is born
unto us a Son is given,
For unto us a Child is born
unto us a Son is given,
and the government shall be upon His Shoulder,
and His Name shall be called Wonderful Counsellor,
Purgatory is the process by which God remedies all that is lacking in us and that's where our prayers can help the dead. Just as in this life, so also in purgatory, growth and healing is much easier when you've got help, in this case the help of our prayers. - Bishop Anthony B. Taylor
The Commemoration of all the Faithful Departed, or All Souls Day, is the feast day dedicated to prayer for all those who have died and are in purgatory. Souls in purgatory are not yet fully able to bear the light and sinlessless of heaven. They are in the "second chance" lane - having died in the state of still undergoing personal purification, they are given the opportunity to complete their journey to holiness.
They no longer live on earth, and as yet find themselves unable to fully access heaven. They are joyously becoming fully holy. Our prayers are acceptable to the merciful and compassionate God for the souls in purgatory, thus shortening their stay in purgatory. Let us pray for those most in need of our prayers, and that purgatory will be emptied over Hallow's Eve, All Souls Day and All Saints Day.
Bless the graves of your loved ones and of local cemeteries with holy water, pray the rosary at cemeteries and pray for your loved ones and the souls in purgatory, before the Blessed Sacrament or before the Church altar. Contact a good and prayerful priest to offer Holy Mass for the repose of the souls of your families, friends and for all the souls in purgatory.
As human beings, we are finite and limited, with the effects of past sin which have affected our character. Jesus Christ completely paid the price of our redemption. The sentence of eternal banishment of humanity from God was remitted by the Precious Redemption of Jesus. Although our sins have been fully forgiven by God, some lasting damage as a result of personal sins have left some traces in our personalities or deformed character formation in some way. These influences require full healing before final entry into heaven for eternity.
Purgatory is the process by which God remedies all that is lacking to each one, and that's where our prayers can help the dead. Just as in this life, so also in purgatory, growth and healing is much easier when there is assistance - in this case, the help of our prayers.
PRAYER SERVICE
Divine Mercy chaplet
Eighth Day; Today bring to Jesus the souls who are detained in purgatory
Most Merciful Jesus, You Yourself have said that You desire mercy; so I bring into the abode of Your Most Compassionate Heart the souls in Purgatory, souls who are very dear to You, and yet who must make retribution to Your Justice. May the streams of Blood and Water Which gushed forth from Your Heart put out the flames of the purifying fire, that in that place, too, the power of Your Mercy may be praised.
Eternal Father, turn Your merciful gaze on the souls suffering in Purgatory, who are enfolded in the most Compassionate Heart of Jesus. I beg You, by the sorrowful Passion of Jesus Your Son, and by all the bitterness with which His Most Sacred Soul was flooded, manifest Your Mercy to the souls which are under Your Just Scrutiny. Look upon them in no other way than through the Wounds of Jesus, Your dearly beloved Son; for we firmly believe that there is no limit to your Goodness and Compassion. Amen.
Opening prayer:
You expired, Jesus, but the source of life gushed forth for souls, and an ocean of mercy opened up for the whole world.
O Fount of Life, unfathomable Divine Mercy, envelop the whole world and empty Yourself out upon us.
O Blood and Water, which gushed forth from the Heart of Jesus as a fount of mercy for us, I trust in You!
Our Father; Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed by Thy Name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done, on earth as It is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, the Power and the Glory, for ever and ever, Amen.
Hail Mary; Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with Thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the Fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of our death, Amen.
Apostles' Creed: I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Creator of heaven and earth, I believe in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord, Who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died and was buried. He descended into hell, and on the third day He rose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven, and is seated at the Right Hand of God the Father Almighty. From thence He will come to judge the living and the dead. I believe in the Holy Spirit, the Holy Church, the communion of Saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting, Amen.
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.
Pray ten times: For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
Closing Prayer:
Eternal God, in Whom mercy is endless and the treasury of compassion inexhaustible, look kindly upon us and increase Your Mercy in us, that in difficult moments we might not despair nor become despondent, but with great confidence submit ourselves to Your Holy Will, which is Love and Mercy itself.
Our Lord said to Saint Faustina:
Encourage souls to say the Chaplet which I have given you ... Whoever will recite it will receive great mercy at the hour of death ... When they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person, not as the just Judge but as the Merciful Saviour .. Priests will recommend it to sinners as their last hope of salvation. Even if there were a sinner most hardened, if he were to recite this chaplet only once, he would receive grace form My infinite mercy ... I desire to grant unimaginable graces to those souls who trust in My mercy ... Through the Chaplet you will obtain everything, if what you ask for is compatible with My Will.
IMPORTANCE OF THE CHPLET OF MERCY
FOR THE DYING
Jesus said: "Write that when they say this chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between my Father and the dying person, not as a just Judge but as the merciful Saviour."
