AID TO THE CHURCH IN NEED IS A CHARITY PROVIDING VITAL HELP TO CHRISTIANS WHO ARE PERSECUTED, OPPRESSED OR IN PASTORAL NEED IN OVER 130 COUNTRIES WORLDWIDE.
What is the need?
In countries where religious freedom is not respected, Christians can experience discrimination, social and legal injsutices, forced conversion, physical abuse, imprisonment, torture and death.
What does Aid to the Church in Need do?
Aid to the Church in Need
- Assists with emergency aid, rebuilding and pastoral support in countries where ACN has projects and good links with trusted Church networks
- Brings practical support to the needy through practical support
- Teaches the Good News through the Child's Bible - now published in more than 160 languages and often the only resource available to teach adults and children to read
- Proclaim the Word of God
- Help those carrying out ministry by providing transport; car, boat, moped, bicycle, donkey
- Planting of new churches
- Rebuilding churches destroyed by violence or natural disasters
- Support of Priests
- Support of Seminary Attendees
