  Blessed are you who comes before the Lord
ready to lay your burden before Him.

Be still, my soul

1. Be still, my soul; the Lord is on thy side;
Bear patiently the cross of grief or pain;
Leave to thy God to order and provide;
In every change He faithful will remain.
Be still, my soul; thy best, thy heavenly, Friend
Through thorny ways leads to a joyful end.

2. Be still, my soul; thy God doth undertake
To guide the future as He has the past.
Thy hope, thy confidence, let nothing shake;
All now mysterious shall be bright at last.
Be still, my soul; the waves and winds still know
His voice who ruled them while He dwelt below.

3. Be still, my soul, though dearest friends depart
And all is darkened in the vale of tears;
Then shalt thou better know His love, His heart,
Who comes to soothe thy sorrows and thy fears.
Be still, my soul; thy Jesus can repay
From His own fulness all He takes away.

4. Be still, my soul; the hour is hastening on
When we shall be forever with the Lord,
When disappointment, grief, and fear are gone,
Sorrow forgot, love's purest joys restored.
Be still, my soul; when change and tears are past,
All safe and blessed we shall meet at last.

You;
"Lord, I pray for the strength I need to fulfil Your work within me."
  [Here think of your particular needs, your fears, your anxieties.
  Pray for a deep sense of faithfulness and love towards God.]
"Almighty Father, give me the knowledge I need for decisions to be made, the strength to carry my daily tasks and to support my family and friends.
  Give me renewed strength in the depth of your promise to always be with us.
  I wish to live within the peace you promised us.
I will not let my heart be troubled, neither will I be afraid.
  I trust in You to help me with [ . . . here quietly pray about your intention. Do not commit your prayers and intentions to words or any form of communication. Your prayer is sacred between you and God alone.] "

After you have finished praying, spend time before God allowing Him to speak to you.
  Listen to the Voice of the Spirit as He guides you. Allow yourself to be strengthened. If tears come and wash away your loneliness or fears, don't be afraid of them. Tears are healing to the soul.
  Place yourself before God to be guided. What does God place before You in guidance?

  Having brought Jesus your time, faith and presence, rest assured that He will guide you.
  Ask Mary the Mother of God to take your cause in hand. She, the Mother of the Saviour, is always ready to extend maternal care and ask God for blessing. Don't be afraid to approach her in prayer.

The Ministry of the Word
Matthew Chapter 11, verses 28 to 30
'Come unto me, all you who labour and are heavy burdened, and I will give you rest.
  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of Me; for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls.
  For my yoke is easy, and my burden light.'

Words of Comfort
Jesus encouraged us to come to Him for assistance when we feel we cannot carry on, or do not know which way to turn.
  He told us to take His yoke upon our shoulders. A yoke is a wooden crosspiece that attaches two animals to the plough they pull.
  Jesus' yoke is a symbolic one. What He means here is that pledging ourselves to His Service may seem a loss of independence.
  In reality, pledging ourselves to walk with Him is the greatest freedom we can ever know.
  Jesus' yoke is the pledge of a relationship between Himself and us - He commits to pulling our burdens with us.
  As a yoke holds two animals together, and they draw the heavy plough as one; so the yoke of Jesus tethers Him to us, and He pulls our burden together in tandem with us.

  What seems to be a loss of freedom for us is in reality the freedom from the worry of carrying our burdens alone.
  Instead of haphazardly trying to get through life alone, we can lean on Jesus' Strength, and depend on help from our Divine Messiah.

  As we accept the yoke of Christ, we no longer face life's burdens alone; we face them together with His Strength alongside, helping us to carry the weight of the burden.
  And a burden shared, is a burden halved.
Lean on Him; those of us who have, can testify as witness; He has never, ever let us down.

The Eucharist
Priest;
"Isaiah prophesied that the Messiah would break the yoke of our slavery and lift the heavy burden from our shoulders. [Isaiah 9;4 and 10;27].
  We were freed from the slavery of sin, and bonded in friendship and covenant with the Saviour.
  Let us renew our covenant as we break the Holy Bread in remembrance of His great Sacrifice for us on Calvary."

"Now, as they were eating, Jesus took bread,
and blessed and broke it.
  He gave it to His disciples, saying, 'Take this, all of you, and eat it; for this is My Body.'

At the end of the supper, Jesus took the cup of wine, blessed it and gave it to His disciples, saying, 'Take this, all of you, and drink; This is My Blood, shed for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins.' "

You;
Close your eyes and receive spiritual communion from the Saviour at this sacred chapel.
  Spend time in reflection, and hear His Word to you.
  Be blessed; be sanctified; be comforted.
Receive His guidance.
  And, refreshed, receive the benediction and go out to serve the Lord in your life.

Final Blessing;
Priest;
"Almighty God,
Keep [here quietly place your name before God] safe on [his/her] road home to You, dear Lord.
  Encourage [your name], strengthen [your name] when [he/she] falters, when [he/she] turns back.
  Shepherd [your name] with [his/her] face forward once more, strengthened with Your support.
  May [your name] be faithful in discipleship, strengthened by Your grace, unburdened in Your love, guided by your Spirit evermore. Amen."

Final Hymn;
Be Still, for the Presence of the Lord

Verse 1
Be still for the Presence of the Lord
The Holy One is here,
Come bow before Him now,
With reverence and fear.
In Him no sin is found
We stand on holy ground.
Be still for the Presence of the Lord
The Holy One is here.

Verse 2
Be still for the glory of the Lord
Is shining all around.
He burns with holy fire
With splendor He is crowned.
How awesome is the sight,
Our radiant King of Light,
Be still for the Glory of the Lord
Is shining all around.

Verse 3
Be still for the power of the Lord
Is moving in this place.
He comes to cleanse and heal,
To minister His Grace.
No work too hard for Him,
In faith receive from Him.
Be still for the power of the Lord,
Is moving in this place.
